Mid-Century End Table, Artist Series, Ellsworth Inspired

Presenting the second in my series of artist inspired studies on furniture (in my own interpretation).

This mid-century end table (in the style of a Paul McCobb Planner group table, but it's a vintage lookalike) is refinished in a pattern reminiscent of another mid-century artist, Ellsworth Kelly.

Kelly was an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker associated with hard-edge painting, color field painting and minimalism.

Although Kelly typically used vivid colors, this geometric yet organic pattern is similar to his work and mixes perfectly with this style of table in a mix of black and a light warm neutral. Fully sealed in a satin finish for protection. Legs easily unscrew making this piece affordable ($60) for shipping (and easy to move).
